International Women's Day Event at Peace College - 3/8/05
Featuring a press conference on 3/7/05 at 10:30am to discuss domestic violence in North Carolina. Speakers include Deborah Ross, representative, N.C. House; Lisa Angel, Domestic Violence Attorney for Rosen Divorce; and Mary Barine, Interact's Immigrant, Refugee/Asylee Crisis Counselor.

We observe this day to reflect upon the efforts in North Carolina to
better protect women from domestic violence and to also discuss future
strategies and endeavors to further minimize domestic violence in our
community.
