Thursday, January 24th, 5:30pm - Mexican activist Verónica Cruz Sanchez in Raleigh. Ms. Cruz Sanchez has worked for more than 15 years to promote women's rights in her home state of Guanajuato. Ms. Cruz Sanchez works to help women who are victims of violence, particularly sexual violence. Sponsored by Ipas, El Pueblo, Family Violence Prevention Center and Orange County Rape Crisis Center.
