For our Roe event, we want to screen an inspiring documentary, like "The Vessel." Read about "The Vessel" and some other great documentaries at Documentary Recommendations.

Please lend your name and/or donate to NC NOW for the pro-choice signature ad, which runs in Indy Week on Jan 20, 2016, in commemoration of the 42nd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. Find Raleigh NOW's version of the ad at Raleigh NOW's Signature Ad Appeal.

Whether or not you can donate toward the ad, you can help in other ways. Raleigh NOW calls its members, because we know many of our members like to participate, and don't always contact us in a timely manner. Calling them gives us an opportunity to tell them about our upcoming Roe event too.

We'll also deliver pro-choice signature ad packets to our representatives in the NC General Assembly at 16 W. Jones St in the first weeks of the 2016 session. Read about what the packet included last year at 2015 Pro-Choice Signature Ad Packet Delivery.

We can also plan events and protests around what concerns members, and join in with other events and vigils. I'd love to do a vigil recognizing domestic violence victims, screen some more of those documentaries, plan panels on relevant topics, protest more outrageous bills.
