Tuesday, Feb 3, 2015 – No Raleigh NOW meeting. See earlier post on public education panel at 7pm in Chapel Hill.

Thursday, Feb 5, 2015 – Roe event with Chapel Hill and Durham and Raleigh NOW in Chapel Hill. Learn about TRAP laws – what they are and what they do. 7pm-9pm. See earlier post for details "And Then There Was One".

Saturday, Feb 14, 2015 – Join NC NOW and the HK on J (Historic Thousands on Jones St) to be part of the historic thousands in this huge annual march and rally. Look for NOW women and men in purple shirts with NOW and ERA signs. Contact president at raleighnow.org to get your own.

Monday, Feb 23, 2015 - 10am - Deliver signature ad packets to our representatives in the NCGA. In Raleigh. Lunch together afterward.

Tuesday, Feb 24, 2015 – Women’s Advocacy Day at the NCGA in Raleigh, 16 Jones St. Includes press conference and training on how to talk to your representatives at the NCGA. Be sure to make an appointment in advance if you can. Others can join you to talk to your representatives.

Raleigh NOW meetings have moved

Raleigh NOW meets at 2912 Highwoods Blvd, at 7pm on generally the first Tuesdays of each month.

We meet in the breakroom at the back of the building. Go to the glass door and knock, and we'll let you in.

However, there is NO Raleigh NOW Business MEETING in Feb 2015. Go to the Feb event on public education instead (see last post).

Also, no Raleigh NOW business meeting in Jul 2015.

A panel of our local school district superintendents will discuss the impact of the NC budget on local schools at a public meeting.

Panel experts include: Dr. Del Burns, Orange County Interim Superintendent; Dr. Tom Forcella, Chapel Hill-Carrboro Superintendent; Dr. Derrick Jordan, Chatham Superintendent and Dr. Bert L'Homme, Durham Superintendent.
